ethernet cable and KV box???

I am kind of confused.

I know the box requires a virgin media lead. (the white one). but does it also require an ethernet cable to it? there is nowehere to put the ethernet cable!

i have tv and broadband package with VM.

lan port on kv is on the back and you gotta remove black sticker next to scart to reveal
