vista or windows 7 to load firmware ?

after reading that vista is a pain to load the firmware,for kryptview a780 ive borrowed a laptop with windows 7, will this do the job or do i need a pc with xp or home ?

i dont have a prob with vista or win7, its down to having the correct cables and drivers

loaded mines with win 7 no problems

im unable to download the second bin firmware file, the link takes me to "INVALID ID"

so am i it is way easier than xp just disable your fire wall and antivirus it will work ok and as as long as you have a null modem cable it will work it aint einstein
