    hi all just got a a780 because am fed up with me sv7,could some1 be kind enough 2 tell me the correct fw to put on it or maybe even a link! thanks nicole

    put that on and update through menu over net

      thanks jumpinjo you couldnt help me with the loader,its been a while since i had 2 use the rs232 lead with the sv 2 and 3 am a bit rusty if i have 2 open the file b4 i use the loader!! thanks again

            Have you used the rs232 cable before and know it works? Is it a NULL one? did you get it free with your a780?

            Also to add when you were in process of flashing box there is a point were you need to switch box OFF hit the download and switch box back on again.

            It catches loads of peeps out that.

            thanks jok yes mate i have used the rs232 cable 2 flash the starview 123 and the eurovox,i also tried the rs232 that come with the box and ive also tried the switch off and on thingy aswell,going 2 give it another try later!! thanks!!

              Try different comm port numbers in the loader.

                thanks for your help,tried it on another pc and it worked straight away,anyway the channels i have got likes sly sports are all working fine just it only finds half of the channels any ideas plz!!!

                  If its only finding half the channel you are scanning wrong area is most likely. What area are you in?
