    kryptview home media wifi bridge

    Need help please
    am running kv box wirelessly using home media wifi bridge but it only works with no wifi encryption and obviously thats not good idea.

    any ideas how to get it to work on encrypted network

    Never used a wifi bridge but common sense to me would be when setting up the bridge on your computer there will be a provision to enter any passkeys be them wpa or wep. The passkey has to entered while the bridge is connected to your computer.

      try to convert your password from ascii to hex (10 character) and then enther
      it as hex.

        there should be a disc with it you connect the wifi bridge into your pc run the programme on the disc it will show a list of networks you select yours insert user and pass word into programme thats it done connect to your box and if your lucky it will connect to your router

          got it going in the end had to change to wep encryption

                Yep If anyone has a short password change it from ascii to hex then it has to be 8 to 10 didgets.
