    thanx guys, put it this way its flashing blue so ive got it thanks to you guys. when entering area code, i cant remember where i saw it. i have telewest. i think i saw them in the tutorial guide but when im downloading them now i cant get back in to see. any hints or the code. thanks for all the help

          To far for me to nip round and sort but just try scanning on any of the providers until you get the right one. Dont forget to Factory Reset before trying a different one.

            al pay your fares up here DW190, av got it mate, i thought there was a code to enter in, but i finaly got it mate. its all up and all channels working jus perfect, picture quality really good 2.
            another ? though, i used to have the eurovox before all
            the nag3 carryon came in and i had it plugged in one room and it went to all the other tvs in the house.think its the loop out connection but not sure. does the a780 box loop out to other tellys in the house or is it jus in the one room that it is plugged in. jus i done a quick try there but didnt seem to come up on other tvs. didnt try re tuning them though, could be the problem. many thanks again for all your help

              hat you could do is use the second scart to a video/dvd recorder with a scart in and use the rf out from that. There is also a scart to rf adaptor you could buy.

                  hey tried it through an old vcr earlier but didnt work, going to try with a newer dvd player 2moro. with the adapter, would you be able to buy one of them from local retailers ie pc world or only online?? cheers

                            yes it works well on win 7 i have just set mine up and works well..
                            just load the blue cd and put your wifi key in and your up and running

                              I'll add that I bought an OpenMedia WiFi bridge to use on a TV upstairs (for tinterweb access)-very easy to program but it's range was not sufficient to find my wireless-n router.They may be OK if your router is nearby but the OM is only 802.11g so don't expect lightning speed.I ended up running a 30m LAN cable round the house with all the drilling and hassle that involved.It even struggled when connected to my Blu-Ray player that also has internet capability and that is only 12ft from the router.A hard wired connection is miles more stable and able to cope with I-Player and YouTube with ease.I don't know if the KV is less reliant on the signal but if you experience loss of signal/picture this would be the most likely explanation. Hope this helps,
