Please help - I am at my wits end!!
We have had a Kryptview A780 for just on a week now. We have installed and got the channels we wanted then for some reason we lost them all again a day or so later. I then managed to re install everything through a fluke but found the "installation" manual an hour later. To install it read as below :
1. Press MENU on the remote
2. Select INSTALLATIONS, PIN = 0000
3. Select AUTOMATIC SEARCH
4. Select NETWORK, choose your provider, NTL, C+W or TELEWEST
5. Press Green Button on the remote to start search
6. A box should be displayed showing "LIST OF NETWORK ID"
The channels have disappeared again last night and I cant even get ITV, BBC1, etc. Im going through all the above instructions but its not allowing me to do point "6" ... I know there is where you select you area network. Ive even gone to the default, cleared the box and reset everything - took my wifi receiver out and reinstalled that on my PC.
What am I doing wrong to stop this LIST OF NETWORK selection coming up!?
Help!??!!!???
Is it correct that you shouldnt switch the box off overnight as this can erase the channels ... is it wise then to keep it switched on aswell as the wifi transmitter I have for the internet - I dont like to have that running through the night when its not in use!
