scanning for full channels

I tried c&w but nothing is found, ntl finds nothing aswell. I'm in a tw area scanning on tw finds Leeds, doesn't find bradford or keighley. I'm in keighley so that would help. Iv just left the list of network ids to come up been 10 mins still the same number and no Bradford or keighley.

If your in Keighley its odds on that it is telewest.

Have you got the cable feed in the top socket as the bottom one is just a through slot?

The alternative is to scan on the one that gets most channels and leave the box in standby overnight.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys I am trying everyone.
I get other channels so I know its working. Sports 1, 3 and 4 now I'm missing 2 and sports news. Movies have come back but says bad signal it no signal..

It's a weird one coz I had movies before, and sports 1, 2,3 and 4. was missing news... I get lots of hd channels, just got sports 1 and 2 in hd. Never had those on the list before. I'm using Leeds Id at the mo. Have been since I got it. It brings up different channels all the time.

Press INFO when on working channel & see what signal levels
are. Remove any splitters while scanning. When you are using
correct NET-ID channs. will be in correct order;bbc1,bbc2,itv,etc.
Make sure all TV cable connections are tightened

Funny enough you get the channels through the out side and it solves strong signal problems.

this is a signal problem make sure all coax ends r tight as said before if using push on 'f' connecters this will cause this problem i had it before thanks ant.

i tried everything as stated on this and
other threads but no success!
i even tried to install S/W UPDATE.
Not sure if i downloaded some kind of
crap.
i made a factory reset, rescanned, got all the channels but still scrambled!
any ideas people?

If your getting all the channels, first check if BBC1, 2 are working. If they are then all thats wrong is your not getting the internet connection through.

If you did a software update and let it complete you will have the latest software on the box.

Hey guys sorry haven't had time to try the box out till now. Iv cut the cable wire a cm back and it seams to have given it more strength on the existing channels I had. Just doing a new scan, id which is ment to be keighleys is under barnsley? I'm doing a scan now c what it finds.

It's working now.. dnt know if it was cutting the cable and getting a stronger feed or scanning the correct id but in got all the channels and order..

Are they all clearing the encryption?

maybe having a cleaner tighter connection has done some good then. great news you got it up and running,no harm dropping back and reading other posts to see more info and might be able to help someone else also.
