    itv1 and channel 4 disappearing

Basically I scan all the channels, picks them all up fine. Then after a while (hours later) itv 1 and channel 4 say scrambled or no video, even though when first scanned they were fine. All other channels continue to work perfectly normally.

I've tried all the usual factory reset, reboot, unplug ethernet, scan, reboot and still no joy. Plus I'm definitely using the right area code as its the one vm box is using.

Any help would be much appreciated this, as its doing my head in.

Can the area code be different to the one the vm box uses then?

no sure 100% m8 but if a free to air channel scrambles then it might be because its out of your area ,,

l use sat but there an itv channel that needs encrypting all the rest dont

Make sure the FTA channels you use are the ones at the top of the entertainment catagory or you will be on channels designated to some other area.

Loads of BBC's, Itv's & Chan 4 at the bottom of the list will show as scrambled.

It doesnt seem to matter which area i scan its still the same, I've tried all the various itv 1's and channel 4's and none work. The only ones I can get to work are the audio description channels, which I can rename and move but it means i get London news which isn't ideal.

Before you scan for channels , Try deleting all channels and then the factory reset. Might be worth a try it worked for me.

                    ive got the same problem...

Initially FTA channels kept saying bad signal,

wiped box and rescanned and now no itv1 (shows itv1HD and Audio descrip) and no Channel 4

                    any ideas?
