signal and quality

My signal strength is at a steady 77 on all channels (never seems to fluctuate) however the quality can be between 93-40 and at 40 this is where there is no channel signal at all this is easily fixed by notching up a channel then back down which is pretty irretating!

just done a factory reset and rescanned and all the channels that was breaking up r fine now??

I agree its a server problem.....i have 95% signal and quality and it was working fine last week,only today has it started to play up with freezing and channels going off with scrambled displayed on the screen,when i look at the bottom it just says connecting......tried rebooting etc and still the same message....checked all the ip and internet setting they are fine as they where last week....so like i said before its a server problem....lots more boxes have joined and they are overloaded......we will see whats happens in the next day or so and see if they ugrade the server?

eamo i dont pay any sub at all maybe thats why my signal is only 72-77 like u said but it has been fine with 77% for me whats yours eamo 80+?my old eurovox was always 80+

Mine is 95% on a dreambox, but 80% would be fine on KV. I
think about 75% is the critical level for KV. Above it is fine but
below it you're in trouble. TV sub would sort out your signal Ant,
but can't guarantee will stop all freezing if servers are under sub-
scribed. I would hold off on doing anything for the moment as
there are a lot of posts on diff forums today re freezing

hey y'all

i will have a go at rescanning and factory reset without the lan connected tomorrow, see if that helps. as to the signal and qualitity, ive always had a qualitity at 100 and before the update a signal of 60. when i would first turn the box on it would be 100 then after a minute it would dip to 60. for while now i would get channels every so often freezing or going off, but not to often, then about a week or so ago i noticed the movies got worst with the freezing etc. i then did the update and decided to connect a signal booster. since then the signal has gone up to 70, but im still having problems with the movies channels, today hadnt been so bad tho. at the moment, the feed comes from the brown box on the front to a 2way splitter, one line goes to the KV box and the other to the modem.
