Kryptview 780 box stuck in update mode

Hi,
I have had problems with loss of channels so decided to do a search for update of firmware via S/W on the box.

Box is now stuck in searching for update and won't do anything else. I can't turn off the box, find menu or anything else.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to get my box running again

Turn power of from router and kv box wailt 10sec turn back on then make sure router is working ok .go to factory
y reset and start again do a software up date viv Internet then again factory rdet then scan should be ok but make sure Internet is working first

Have powered of router and KV box but when I turn it back on it is still stuck in update mode. Cannot access menu to do anything with it

if you touched remote you may screw things up,only way maybe is to flash older firmware on box with null modem cable and a factory reset and fresh scan with lan removed.

Good advice Cacti. He might have some fun trying to flash that
box if he can't exit menu. Best he can do is turn off box & don't
turn on until after he hits START on LOADER & keep trying until
it begins flash

all new things to check ,box will be powerd off when trying to flash it if it works report back so we know cheers

Stuck in update mode

Left the box off overnight and when I turned it on the next day it was working OK and no longer in update mode.

there is new software from today via lan as last weeks had a bug being stuck in upgrade mode LOL

m8 tried and says his is up to date and his was done on the 31
curious if it was done then its ok,or changed to now if update needed

just to upate things now m8 has now done update on 780 and 750 showing 03012011
he says rechecked date 030112010 hehehe

Not on the 750 it dont.

he checked the first time and did not update,left them and came back and rechecked both boxes took an update,also he is well into kvs
just to add he updated his on the 31 and it showed that date.on 780 only.

new update error was on date of file posted 2010 now 2011 ,any boxes done now should have 2011.

latest update is 03/01/2011
