hi i have followed all the info , flashed with fta sw and with 3/1/2011 and my box is still stuck searching for update nothing seems to work,any ideas on how to fix it?

i have been told there is no fw update as it does not allow you to up date it keeps saying screaching for update but thats all that happens

As I understand it the server isn't fully up and running yet, meaning on the fly firmware upgrades are impossible. This doesn't stop anyone who wants to manually upgrade the firmware though.

Not had a look to see if it's readily available for download or not.

you will only find the previous firmware which works in downloads and dont try updating over the net yet until all channels are back and you are told ok to do so.
