not sure mate i dont think so, not unless they come into ur house and see it . think what usually happens is if they do think you are which is unlikely ,i think, is they will prob send signals and mess up your router signal so then an engineer has to come out to ur house to sort, ie needs to check the signal on ur virgin med box.

i was told by my mate who works for v-media that if you have the basic package then no but if you just have there bb then then they will see tv data packets comming down the line and you will be cut off , so u need the basic package hope this helps

Which IMHO would be a potentially suicidal course of action, a total can of worms and if opened would cause them a world of grief. To be self righteously protecting theirs and sky's content when doing practically nothing to protect any copyrighted material from being stolen online along with all the other illegal goings that happens. They would be scowled upon by ofcom and other isp governing bodies.

No they cannot detect the boxes, there is no talk back on dodgy ones, all they will see is a data packet coming down the line, same as they see when you are on google, or on here.

yep there used to be a couple guys down my way sold boxes who where telepest engineers years ago.

they actually used to come and install the box for you in the telepest vans .

if your cable feed was cut outside, no problem ,they just reconnected it....
