I need help with my KV780

Hi Everyone I need help with my KV780, I have hit a brick wall. I'm using a USB serial port adaptor and null modem cable to connect my a780 box via Vista, assigned the ports and switched off the box from the back b4 clicking the start button still no luck, when downloading I'm always getting a messaging saying "The downloading is not requested" a message appears above the loading box saying "Read REQ failed". I've been through the forum and no luck. Would appreciate any help!

i had the EXACT same problem m8, it seems some pc's dont like the usb to rs cable i had to buy the internal pc card then it worked 1st time

Vista poses many problems but if you install correct vista driver
for USB-RS232 cable should work OK

correct m8 plus are folks getting a disc with drives on ?..

Some do some dont, but you can find drivers on the net anway.
