problem with router and wifi bridge

hi guys, got a problem. my mates box wrks fine with cable from router to box. have done the setup with wifi bridge and succesful, blue light flashes yet put plug into box it doesnt allow channels?????. i know bridge def works too as i installed it into my router and box and it worked fine. i have reinstalled bridge back to his router. any ideas to what this can be? the router he has is a netgear. could it be some security thing?? its like something just isnt connecting between the two of them??? help appreciated guys

When setting to Bridge up in the computer, have you entered any wireless security password?

You could also try by disabling the wireless security on the modem to test it.

192.168.0.1 is the norm for N/gear.

magic mate quality, took security off and off it goes. , not only that he was using a dongle for his comp, now it works wirelessly without it even better. cheers mate
