    new v****n combo modem/router & KV780

hi recently moved address and VM have provided me with their combo modem/router for 10/20mb service users. I've read previously that to connect KV, it should always be via router rather than modem. Has anyone had the same issue, trying to find if can still use Kryptview before purchasing via this combo unit.

looks like you can add the kv to 1 port and pc to other then, you wont know till you hook up.where is the coaxial cable coming from as you need that to scan on and internet do encrypt

coax is not via combo box at all, connection is split at wall, with 1 part leading to combo box and other to vm V box hd,

          Thx

VM Combo Modem/Routers are no problem at all. Just split the cable feed before the M/Router.

Put KV box in place of VM box. When you are up & running you
can split cable if you want to connect VM box as well
