Brand new A780 keeps scanning channels

Hi, just flashed a KV A780 & instead of the display going to 0000 ready for a channel scan, the LED display repeatedly scanning ch nos from about p006 or so to ch 254 ish(going thru nos v quick)
Is there a way to reset box? there is obviously a fault on it.
Has anyone come across this? thanks, any help appreciated.
PS. have another 780 so not new to them

make sure u have the 03/01/2011 firmweare reflash the box and it should sort it out

Plug out box for 5 minutes
Try unplugging LAN from box, see will it allow you to scan
If necessary re-flash box & return to supplier if it doesn't respond

Cheers Kenny, I'm up todate with SW, thing is box wont let me re flash as its stuck in this scanning mode.
I need a reset on remote or something similar.

Thanks eamo, unable to re flash & hav'nt even done a channel scan as it won't let me into menu.
Tried unplugging also, think it will have to go back to shop, cheers

Turn off box, connect to PC, hit START on loader, TURN on box.
Might be better to try this with older firmware & update on-line
if successful. Some people turn on box, hit START, turn off box,
Turn on box, when flashing. Try this a few times it may work.
If not back to supplier
