    Upscale RGB resolution to HD?

Hello again people, another little idea i had was to connect one of the RGB-Scart (NOT component) to HDMI (720p or 1080p) so all channels are displayed in HD.
I understand that the converter contains active components to upscale RGB Analogue format to HD using HDCP. But i was wondering whether anyone else has tried a similar converter or set up and what the results were like.
These units can be purchased online through ebay and websites over the internet.

    Thanks.

Hello, thanks for your reply, the converter is not used to allow the HD channels to work on the kryptview box. The native RGB output on the kryptview box is upscaled using an external active converter so the RGB Analogue is converted into Digital Hd (at least that what is says on the description for the converter).
If this were to work, effectively all the channels on the Kryptview box will be displayed in HD. However, i was wondering whether the results live up to the description.
To be honest, if it claims to be able to upscale RGB analogue signal to full HD, a user should easily see a difference (and to be honest even if it displays it at 720p at least, that would be an achievement) with and without the converter.

Thanks for your reply, did the converter significantly improve the display quality, if so, would it be worth buying one of the ones on ebay which claim to upscale RGB to HDMI 1080p for ?37?
