    No Picture

    Ok Chaps,

Managed to flash my new a780 all ok.
But now when I put the scart in and put on the telly I can receive no picture. I've tried both scarts and the individual video + sound plugs too but can get no luck.

I know the scart leads and TV are sound because it still works with my old Eurovox.

Once I flashed it I simply switched the box off and went for it.

Can anyone offer me any pointers please, or do I just need to send it back for a replacement?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks mate, appreciate the post but that's not the problem.

The box just says 'ON' but doesn't respond when I push any of the buttons and like I said there is no picture or sound whatsoever.

I think I'll try flashing it again and then either box it up and send it back or smash the **** out of it against a wall....depending on how my mood is at the time! :-)

reading the first post you have only flashed box,you have not said you scanned and found channels, removed sticker at rear and inserted lan cable and rebooted box, router, and modem.
are you getting anything on tv with scart connected as you should even get a menu up.

Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.

I went back through the whole scenario, when I went through the tutorial the link to the latest version of firmware was down and so I hunted it down but got the wrong version. I have since uploaded the latest version and the box works a treat, I'm over the moon with it!

Cheers for your advice and patience
