Hi guys! I currently have a eurovox but have been saving up for a motorised satellite system for CS.I was advised to go for either a dreambox 500s or 600 but this box has came on the market since then and I was wondering if any one owns one and what advice you would give to a newbie,stick with my original plan or go for one of these boxes?

The openmedia is box with a cable and a sat tuner in one box. It can be used for cable or sat and is similar to a clone dm500 and uses all the same software. The dm600 has a better tuner and you cn install an internal hard disk for recording. -
Thanks curious!I decided to just get a d-500s for starting out and see how I cope with that.The thing that put me off the OM box is that you can't just press a button on the remote and change between the two sytems.And if I wanted the D-600s which is a nicer looking box than the 500 it woulda cost me another ?50.Does the 600 have a better tuner than the 500?Comment

The dm600 has a better tuner and it also more RAM so you can load more plugins onto your dreambox.Comment
