i have just got a 500 cs and was going to set up the cable side first then move on to the sat side later, i have switched on and checked the software version and it says v.1.0 04.06.2008 support digital-kaos.co.uk, is this ok for me to just fxp straight off or do i need a newer version on first?

ok reading through other threads it seems as though i needed to update to 1.1 so have done this and it scanned but only free channels. so i'm gearing myself up to fxp it later. -
Just threat it as you would a 500C/s and add the latest ROMs and Emu via FTP for the cable side.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment

yes first 1 m8 going to move house soon so thats why i chose to try this particular box so as i have the option of having either or if things go pear shaped in the future on either. cheersComment
