original viaccess card?

Im thinking of getting the open media box to replace my technomate reciever, does the open media box take original viaccess card? and also is it easy to set up with my motorized dish already intstalled?

Maybe if you PM max_gee he can tell you.

It's basically a dm500 so if a dm500 can take the card then the open media will be able to.

What's wrong with your TM receiver m8? You should be able to use any Viacess card in there unless your planning on sharing your card?

Thanks for the reply, there is nothing wrong with my technomate, i have aslingbox which controls the dreambox perfectly and not technomate, thats why i want to change
