Second box connected to the first one

does anyone knows what is the cable/sat out conection behind the open media 500cs is for?
Is it a splitter? if so how that will work?
I am considering to have a secont box in my spare bedroom and was wondering if I could take the second box feed from the output of my first box?
Will I be able to select channels individually in each box?
will the picture quality be the same like a normal splitter?

its a loop out
if both are on you can only get same chnls as the first box,s tranponder is on
but if first box is off you have full control of the lnb

better getting twin output lnb and run new cbl to second box
