trouble downloading fix to starview 2

Hi All,
I am new to this so I might be suffering from finger trouble.

Trying to download 802E fix.
Started by doing a factory reset. (advice I saw on this forum)
Have opened the v4.03_051005 loader, and selected bin file.
When I hit download i get an error message
"Can't open serial port".

I have tried selecting com1 - 4 as serial port and get the same error message.

Any advice would be welcome

Are you using an rs232 null modem cable or a usb to rs232 adapter m8?
There is a new fix out for The Box,

You sorted yet mate? I had a right game with the sv2 but have cracked it now, not sure if i have done everythin right but had to download 3 bin files to get to work!

Once you've made a coms port connection Mate , just use the latest box fix found on this forum.
When you open it , you;ll find V4.54 firmware , which you'll have to load first , if your box is on the old V4.51 , when you've done this , flash over it with the logo file , also found in the fix file , and for your last trick flash on the latest V802 firmware and you're finished .
Hope this helps , all the instructions are also in this file .
