Two scarts on the back of the box m8, one goes to TV one will go to your DVD recorder.

is that all I have to do, I was connecting the ariel connection into the recorder and the other end in to the output of the box
Can you record one station while watching another channel.

I'm sure you will be able to record a TV channel through your DVD recorder and watch something else on your Box, or vice versa.
If you mean record one channel on the box and watch another, then no, the box you have is a single tuner.
