It is the public release or so I and others have been informed. But as said IMHO it is way too early for such a release.

well different people are saying different things.. don't know who to believe! i wouldnt download it just for these channels anyway untill an official verdict has been reached.. if SS1 gets added it may tempt me to have a peek

It is "official", (a term served cold when talking about SV)

But as said it's up to each individual if they want to try it or not.

i said that BEFORE i knew it was a public release when satsmo pointed that out.. i thought it was leaked and as before it would slow down the whole process of ALL the channels coming back on. But i'm not trying it out because i want to wait and see what happens to everyone else and IF afew good sports channels come on then i'll happily upgrade firmware due to the cricket world cup reaching its finale

same here mate, copied onto usb, plugged in and it just does nothing when i select the 'showmustgoon' file... anyone shed some light please??? **damsel in distress**

As per the attached readme:

Unrar
copy the file to your usb pen
install
restart
do a factory reset
scan for channel in your area
when channel scan complete
go to a channel and type 1819
wait a few minutes and connection should be esablished

extract the file dont just copy it to usb think your dropping the full folder to usb

Supposedly but that's weeks away I would say and that's an "if" by the way. The "if" been when the others that remain in stock are sorted first.
