Is anyone else missing channels 109,111,139,140,159 etc.If not can someone help.First i have a direct feed,did a factory reset etc but no joy on these channels although i have ss 1 and 3.

everyone will be missing channels, from what i gather, comig bac bit by bit, but how long will it all last? not being negative, but unless the origional guys are doing it, doubt it 6 of them got busted, must be a new gang running it. so why are they keeping boxes running which they have not sold, maybe to help sell stock already made. the server and cards cost them, and they are getting old boxes running without getting a penny for doing it.
hope im wrong, but it does not make much sense to me why they are doing it, bar starview wanting to shift stock.
put it this way would you pay a sub for someone else without being reimbursed -

no what i mean is i have for instance ss2 but cant watch it.The channels i have stated are just not there at all.Can someone shed some light why please.Comment

Right lets try and make it simple to understand,before i change the firmware or do a factory reset living,living+1,challenge, challenge+1,living love etc are showing in the listing but obviously are not showing the picture to watch they are scrabbled as is all channels except some freeview channels. Now when i do a factory reset then a rescan of the channels even before i put the new firmware on, the channels i talked about are not in the listing they are gone.So even when i put the new firmware on and do a factory reset then a rescan they are still not there on the tv listing.I am in the tyne and wear area does anyone have the same problem.Please help.Ps as with everyone else i have sp1/3 working.Comment

Looks like a weak signal at your end, have you tried this box in another house to check?

Like supergyan has said when i do a full scan i only get 220 channels and this is before the software was put on and after, also i have tried it in 5+ houses in the tyne and wear area and still only get 220 channels so it is missing channels like sky living,challenge,living love etc also i have tried different starview 6/7 boxes and still the same so it is not the signal or the software it just looks like it wont pick up some channels in the tyne and wear area.ps as you no you should get 320 plus channels.one other thing it only picks up 18 radio channels. is virgin some how stoping the channels to the box. please help.Comment
