Hi again, anyone else in Leicestershire lost their channels, I'm even struggling to get all the freeview channels, I'm stuck with 1-5.

Help please, I've just tried my Starview The Box II USB Software version 2.02 boot version b-21 date Sep 22 2009 and it has lost all of it's channels including some free to air. I can't even get QVC how sad is that? As you can see I'm a newbie and have tried to follow the different threads but with no joy.

this is a sv4 thread,sv5 uses v2.03 firmware in downloads above,however if you are in a nagra3 area you box will lose channels.=no fix

Not been playing around with cable since moving to different area but got a box to look at for mate who said the pay channels dissapeared a couple of weeks ago.
Anyway took it over to brothers house who has cable and couldn't get any channels tried scanning few times but found nothing plus signal is showing zero.
Anybody give me bit of help please?

I'm in coventry and I think its 1.12 but box is at brovs at moment so not sure. Kryptview working fine at his so not nag 3 or no signal

Do I get rid off it or keep it for the future?

what i mean is what provider have you tried, i dont get any with ntl, have to use, t/pest, xc/w or chorus.. even tho i'm in an xntl area

Might just do the trick as the house it was in ( lost premium channels) is about mile away and I noticed years ago that even such a small distance can make the diiference. IE old pace boxes updated to new firmware weeks and weeks before others just up the road.

I managed to do a automatic scan and it populated, but when I change channels etc, I can hear the channel but the picture is not displayed.
If I change channel the screen displays a scrambled image.[/QUOdont kno about the logo but the channels not displayin pic or sound tands to be scart leads.....check leads....do a factory reset

Did you download that file from this site? does it work? how difficult is it to install?
