Been reading thread on here for years m8, keep dropping in for a gander now and again, been reading the threats mostly about this nag3. Got talking about it with this guy in germany after my wife had phoned me to say all the channels had gone off, said to the guy that was the wife nagging at me about having no cable tv. Thats when his eyes lit up and he started going in to cracking nag3, i thought whats he going on about NAG3!!!!

Going back in 2 week, going to hunt him down and asking him if he has got it sorted, he did say that he would have to do mods on the boxes, not just flash them or update firmware.

I will post if he is the real deal when i get back.

How did nag2 get resolved, in the sense that starview could de- scramble the channels or any of the other boxes EG eurovox.

There are people watching vm with there original vm box, with there nag3 viewing cards, so there boxes are de-scrambling the channels or what ever you what to call in.

Why will it not be possible for a new version of starview boxes to be able to run with NAG3. I just cant see this being the end, there is too much money to be made for these electronic firms to miss out on.

Knowing this world the company who designed NAG3 will have left flaws in it so they can roll out NAG4 and sell in to VM and the roundabout starts again.

As of the 17/08/'09 looks like N*L areas of Ireland have started to shift over to Nagra 3 and this firmware does not clear N3 channels.

Looks like Swansea has been hit by N3. Slowly been losing channels over the last week or so. Came home from work today and only have basic channels!!!! B**tards!!
