Latest firmware release 23/06/'09, for the Box Super USB, (SV4).

Contains Nagra 2 fix for Ireland. Can be used in both the UK & Ireland. But I would advise sticking to 1.07 in the UK as there is a glitch in the firmware and will not allow advanced EPG recordings.

Nice update thank you but I was just wondering what happened to the ability to press the green button and load the epg? This was good to have becasue otherwise the epg only goes forward a few hours where the green button allowed you to go many days forward.

l only thought the recording part had a bug ? or is the epg thats the reason the recording isnt working ,, havnt tried this as lm in england tho

I am in the UK but after the second reboot the green button is back and the epg now does an auto full load when going to the epg for the first time so all is good :-)

just got a new SV4 box preflashed with this one, tho will try out FW 1.07 as it seems some of the channels go black for a few seconds before displaying a pic when browsing thru.

oddly enough when moving a channel forward then back to the black channel, the channel appears instantly.. hmm.

signal level is good, wouldn't say thats the cause of this..

hi guys
im new here and just got a starview 4 usb. all works great but when i try to record to usb flash or external driven the picture slows down (like slow motion) and i lose the audio. however, the file can be played normally later from the memory stick. the only problem is during recording!
please help

So are you confirming that the recording bug has also gone? ie can you do a record from the epg?

Please advise as if you can't then I will still stick on v1.07 in the uk

just do your self a favour and stick with 1.07. Got no idea wat is good about 1.1 in the u.k.
