Works! Doesn't Work!

Hi,
I followed some instructions and loaded the software fix and eventually got the box working at my mates house, but when I got it back home and plugged it all in the message no signal! keeps coming up and all the bars eg. signal are blank.

I have had it working on this connection previously. Any thoughts

Sounds like a cable/signal issue. Have you checked your cabling and take away the splitter if you are using one.

I don't have a splitter, it's a direct connection which i have used about 3 months ago

No signal usually means just that. Does your mate live in the same provider area as you?

Yes about 200 mtrs away

Do you have a subscribed box and is that working at the same feed?

i use to work for vm and it sounds like your cable may have been diconnected at the main green cabinet at end of your street or nearby, if you plug your cable direct into your tv ant socket and scan, if you have a signal it will act like an ant and pick up your normal tv chans and maybe a couple more, if not connected you will not get these, this should show you if cable is connected at cab .....dave...

can i just take the opp to ask if you can help, i tried to get a friends eurovox 1000 on and it wont update , i used new firmware advice from yourself and rebooted and powerscan still only free view and others are updating code all time
