SV7 - no screen not even menu!

I have just opened up my old sv7 to upload new software and there is no visual at all. It powers on but I can't see anything, no menu - nothing. Tried it on two different t.vs with three different scart leads - any ideas please?

On switch is on - numbers show on box, I can turn box on and off with remote - double checked box is in correct av port but no luck

do the channel numbers go up and down when you use the remote?
