Hi, i have a sv7. my tv is in one room, and my pc is in my bedroom on the same floor. At the moment, i am running long cables to my sv box. this is not very sensible for me, because the cables are to obvious.i have a netgear wireless n cable gateway. it replaced my modem a few months since. i would like for both the ethernet, and the broadband feed to the sv7 to be wireless. any suggestions please. thanks. tom.

basically u get 2 plug ins that one will plug in next to your router and the other will plug in where ever in the house u have setup your device in this case your sv box and then 2 ethernet cables one from the plug in down stairs to the router and the other ethernet from the plug in upstairs and into your sv box same as a hard wire connection with out all the trailing cables ....simpllllles these are sold for a pair around 50 pounds as the wifi bridge which i use is around 20 poundsI saw a billboard on the way to work this morning that read "Future Events."

thanks, just one more question. if i go down the homeplugs road, i understand that i will have an ethernet connection to my router, and one from near my sv7 box into it. i think i understand that. but what about my cable that goes from my broadband splitter, to my sv7 box. that is a screw in. joeComment

im guessing u mean the black cable that screws into the starview box? my set up at the minute is in the upstairs of my house, so i have used a f-type screw in 2 way splitter as i have a vermin box in down stairs, so using the splitter i routed a another cable to the outside to the upstairs sounds a big job but 20 mins and you have a nice tidy cable runnig up the outside to the upper bed room hope this helpsI saw a billboard on the way to work this morning that read "Future Events."

i have bought and set up 2 homeplugs today. now i dont need an ethernet cable. that is great, and i'm happy with that. but i still have to run a cable thru my flat, for the broadband connection. this is not ideal, as people cant miss it, when they come in my flat. joeComment
