yes it is up with quite afew channels but some go off then come back on with more channels

Ok so i put latest firmware on, jobs a good un. But then i go to espn punch in 1819 channel comes up and says connected, the change the channel and now its disconnected. Any help would be much appreciated.

when you updated firmware did you factory reset and rescan

,basic rule of how to do things on boxes is read up on info about the way it works same as you buy a new car.
