Channel freezing on sat side

Is there anything I can do to prevent channels for randomly freezing

What firmware you got on box. Read in a post somwhere that if you change firmware to earlier one where you can switch off cable side completely resolves this problem as cable side is trying to find server causing issue.

does it freeze on premium channels like Sky Sports ? What about the FTA channels like BBC ITV etc

@mast the firmware at the moment is Carling F5.21 LDR ver 00.21

the server you are connected to is over loaded and thus it is freezing (high ECM times probably seconds rather than milliseconds) , if you PM me you can test if channels freeze on another server.
