I sold my last sv7 when it went off, for me to buy another is it still as easy to flash ?

guys what do you think of poeple saying the box is only valid for 12 months, that sv actualy track it by the mac address on the boxes, so once the 12 months is up, sv will disable the mac address for that particular box and it wont work anymore?

Has any1's had a sv 6 or 7 for over 12 months? i would like to know if there is any truth on that.

yeah thats true, im just trying to say, if it is true about the boxes being useless after 12 months, then the sat & sub option might be cheaper & better going forward.

And also, (i am aware the KV is down) the KV has no expiry date from what people say, so thats another option.

initially a sub and box will cost you around ?200 for 12 months, simply because you are buying 2 things, sub and box, so from year 2, your just buying the sub which could cost you from ?85 to ?110, and the box which you already have. with a sub, you'll get all HD channels, plus some extra channels.

Dont get me wrong, im not slaying SV/KV, nor im being disrespectful, because I have used SV for the last 4 years and its been great. Still use SV 6 and have a Blade HD box with a sub, so just weighing the options. Kept the SV6 as a backup, not needed it yet.
