I dont,t think Starview is going to improve its services.
Think they have added this channels at present to entice people to buy their surplus stock of starviews.
Their service is rubbish and despite broadcasting its just not worth watching.

Just to educate you a little.......when the picture freezes whilst viewing football or whatever your watching, its not starviews server, its virgin media scrambling the signal thats coming through your wire. You know the signal for the sports you havnt paid for. Thats the new nag3 software that sends out scramble signals at random times.

These are free to air boxes and if your so upset about your services, why not call sky or virgin and pay a full subscription. Atleast that way when your picture freezes you can call someone up and cry to them.

We should be greatful our box is picking anything up after how long we been offline.

I know KV is not working at the moment but this scramble signal does not happen to the KV during the football. Also why would it happen just when watching football. It seems like the server is just overloaded with people watching.

Seems like that but they send scrambled signals when they know loads of people would be watching. I.e during a football match.

Sorry..but your talking absolute rubbish...Glitching and freezing is the result of an oveloaded server that cannot handle the amount requests being made of it, and cannot respond fast enough, hence your getting glitching and freezing due to the delay on the boxes recieving the decryption keys..

Nothing to do with Nagra 3, if this was the case then ask anyone who has a small private cable CS ring running on DM500C's , I can probably guess that they dont have these sort of issues..because theyre ring is private and small they dont have overloaded servers. I cant confirm this as I dont know anyone who runs or participates in cable CS rings.

This is exactly whay you will get using any sort of large comemrcial pay servers theyre only instrested in cash not quality of service...hence they pile too many boxes on to a server which cannot handle that sort of load especially in peak periods like weekend football games or champions league where everyones watching.

Maybe SV need to improve their infrastructure to add more cards and proxies to cache keys and do some load balancing...

Moral of the story if you buy ftom traders like SV, KV whatever they are called expect to get shafted if push comes to shove...

you need to educate yourself on servers and ECM times then come back talk some sense.

All the mourners should be aware off that star & kript are not the legal boxes when used with cable connections therefore when you deal with the criminal activities you take what it come to you and get on with life.
