starview 7 still problems with new file

can anybody help, i have downloaded the new showmustgoon file for sv7, put it on my memory stick. done a factory reset, rescanned the channels and went to sky sports and pressed 1819, left it about 20 mins and still saying scrambled. when i input 1819 it just said no channel have seen that other people are saying it comes up enabled, am i doing sometin wrong? do you have to install the new file in any way?

You go to the USB menu, highlight the file and press OK twice, then it loads and re-boots - have you done that?

maybe silly but have u got ethernet connection pluged in back of box

good point,maybe try another channel incase that is offline

sorry all, yes thank you to you all. i have it back working today. Sorry for not replying sooner its not my box so i only get a chance to try twice a week. thank you to everyone for your help
