Starview 4, "V1.06 081208", Free Channels Only

Help....

I've flashed my brand new starview 4 with "USB V1.06 081208" and only free channels are displaying. I've checked the system info on the SV 4 and its says v1.06 Beta. I've also re-scanned the channels with no success.

Am I missing something? Do I need to do anything else to a new box?

Press menu (ignore what is on the screen) and press 1 5 7 0, this takes you to a secret menu,
Go down to emu and turn it on.
Now exit and wait for it to store all the data.

Hi guys,

I have just got my Starview 4 The Box USB PVR, initially I tried the scan without the usb and got all the free channels. I have since downloaded this file--->Starview HD Combo F3.50 1118 & Bootfile , unzipped and put it on my USB. I plugged in my USB in and went to the menu, however when I go to the usb section and scroll down to the file, nothing hapens when I press OK??????

I have even tried pressing the menu and 1 5 7 0 but again nothin happens!!!!! The only channels I can get are the free ones, please please someone HHEEEEEELLPPP!!!!

you will be lucky if you have not bricked your box the hd combo is a sat and cable box and is not for a starview 4
what does it say on front of unit.

STOP WHAT YOUR DOING, THIS COULD KILL YOUR BOX!!!!!!

dont use this, for another box. if a genuine box, use v1.12, if clone use v1.07 to be on the safe side.
