    emu on or off?

is it advisable to leave the emu menu set at on or off when just watching "freeview" channels etc?

What kind of a question is that?

If you want to watch freeview channels, leave the emu off. Simple.

You,ve a choice Mate , with the EMU off your box is a free to air reciever ,
If your happy with that , you've no need to turn it on .
            Cheers.
