SV2 help please. killed the box

Deleted factory setting and now can highlite parental control and channel edit,and no free to air chanels, have i killed it? put new firm wear on it and did a scan but no channels found, the box is a sv2 the box,please can someone help,bean at it for days, thanks

put the v4.55 firmware onto it , then factory reset it , then scan on the correct provider for your area , you wont get any channels if you use the wrong provider

when finished , menu 1570 and set emu to on and press ok on the set default keys button too

somewhere in the menu after you have successfully booted it is the factory reset option , so use it

I am in the same situation, I have tried, both 8.02 and 8.55 ., done the factory reset, still not picking any channels.I have even tried the previous version 8.50, still not finding any channels. it is not the cable because DM500 workd fine .used the correct provider (I know because i used this to manually update from the toolbar)

try putting v4.54 and the logo file on it , then when it reboots do a factory reset and then scan for channels on the correct provider

if this works , try v4.55 again

check downloads and see if its in there , if its not then trawl around the forums for it as its been out for about 9 to 12 months and is what should have been on your box before you updated

what was on it before you did this then ?

Thanks for that ,got it up and runing now it was not the flash it was the scan? scaned on a tw insted of ? and now its ok,thanks for all your help,ive bean on it for 3 days,Thanks again to you all.

Try the fix detailed by Zran. Its on page 3 in the starview menu in the forum list drop down menu .

did u try menu 1570 turn on the emu set default key then do a scan
