    you need to decide on a sat box first. Blade, Openbox, Starview etc, then you need to purchase a decent card sharing sub, one that is reliable. I have a Blade 7000s HD box, works with existing sly dish, i get all sly channels (not box office) including all hd channels. Theres loads out there, im sure you'll get loads of help and advice from great people here.

        you need to buy a c/s sub m8, im also new to this, but try bellow websites for your sub. you might want to get a trial first to check out quality of service.;

        no links to c/s sites to be posted !!!
        sorry i wasnt aware.

              and dont use those earlier links posted, way too expensive, and not very good. if you just need sly, cheaper and better available, just need small private server, not these over subscribed con artists who shutbdown and rename themselves every few months.

                    Yes I know gmb deleted them, any payserver is bad in our books.

                      isnt a pay server the only real option on the sat side? apart from someone going to all the trouble and setting up a small family type share (which everyone wont do).
                      there are listings to free servers but their lines never work.

                      unless us sat users are missing something?

                      regards dave

                        You can get a share server by subscribing to a package and sharing that with others. It doesn't have to be Sky, sometimes even a ~~~~ package is enough. Generally, the better package that you have, the better servers you can join. If you have a sub, you can join several share servers - ideal for a motorised system.

                          HI DAMUSIKMAN, if you do have a sv 6 or kv cable box they are now coming back on for how long i dont know so if you have the box try it on,thas what i have been reading,anyway you will need to put new firmware on sv6, and on kv you might not.so before spending try the box first on cable as you said REASONE FOR SLY IS CABLE GONE OFF. cable is back ON.
