Where is the new firmware for starview hd combo?

Would be good to know, all I know is I read on another forum when kiddy said that they have not forgot and the way he said it I think he put a smile on the end of his message made me think that something is in the pipeline.

This was only a few days ago and not an old message from a couple of weeks ago. All said and done would be great if there was a straight answer so combo and duo users know where they stand.

you have the sat option, use it. as said they have no combos to sell, so why bring out fix. updates are all about shifting stock, your box does not count, i assure you.

ok, so what sort of dish will i need, and will it be sky im stealing? would i get all of the channels and does it require a server?

a sly dish will work perfect for wat u whant but u will have to pay a very small fee each month google cccam or newcam

Actually this rumor is completely untrue! there also ain't 44k boxes in the country and most certainly not 20k waiting to come back into the country, more like half of that!

The svhd+ is probs one of the best value sly box's in the uk at the moment so why use it for cable.. U might aswell get a line then u can get a larger range of hd or even 3d channels plus sly Atlantic! That's the only reason the software ain't being released yet for it! duo will be soon though n svhd soon after!

i dont mind switching to sky at all but i dont wanna pay any money. we have a paid subscription to VM in the house i live and i think it would be kinda dumb to pay twice.

good call chris g, i should have mentioned cable side only because we have all the info we need about sat side from around the forum, but hardly any news for the cable side.

we have a paid VM sub though. is there no way to make my box work? i noticed a lan socket on the back of the stock VM supplied box, can i use that to descramble my channels on my starview?

i did also notice that the starview 6 and 7 firmware works on my HD combo box, but it will not connect to the server? different servers for different boxes then i guess?
