    Starview 2. Missing channels.

Hi all, can anyone tell me why there are several channels that I can't get e.g. Sky1, Sky2, Sky3, Sky Indie, Sky Sports2, British Eurosport, Sci-Fi.

I am on N*L/V****N in the Glasgow area and have carried out automatic scans at various times of the day but to no avail.

The only one of these that comes up is Sci-Fi showing a signal but with the message "Bad or scrambled channel".

    Tia.

Factory reset your box from the menu.
    Rescan
got to secret menu. Press Ok on Set default key and turn Key emu to on. Exit out of menus.

try resetting to factory default, then do a scan come out of menu and type in 1570 switch on emu, this worked for me and my mates boxes.

Before you try factory rescan, go to manual scan but before you scan for channels make sure you put network scan box on enable... You will get most or all of your channels back that way without having to re-arrange all your existing channels. SciFi is in there also, just swap it for the scrambled one. I come from the Glasgow area also and had a similar problem a few days back...
