starview 2(the box)

Hi all, im new to this forum, but thought i'd ask if anyone could help me....
i have flashed a few starview 2 (the box) and they work fine but im having major probs flashing 1 box, it just wont flash
i was wondering if this starview 2 (the box) could be a clone???
dont really know how to tell, as it looks same as other boxes i've flashed??
any help is appreciated...thanks

I don't think that there is such a thing as a clone Starview 2.

it just wont go past 0 % then fails, ive tried loads times no joy, but its ok doing other boxes...

i thought with the new software, it says NOT FOR CLONES, that why i was wondering if it could be a clone, and how would i know if it was to be a clone? either that or its a hardware fault??

my box dis the same thing.downlads o% do not understand.trayd evrthing.no joy.

Done a few of these Mate , they can be a little fiddly .
With one i did i had to go back to basics .

I did a factory reset , then reflashed it with V4.51 firmware .
You sometimes have to start the download from the Gtrom loader a second or two before you switch the box on , sometimes the other way around ,be patient ! .

When you've done this use "the box V4.55 fix" from the downloads section , and flash V4.55 over V4.51 , this again may take a few attempts .
When you've done this flash the logbox file from the fix file , over this and you're done !

Then do a channel scan , go to parental control in menu , key in 1570 ,
switch key EMU to the on position , exit out to a PPV channel and let it update , job done !

Plz help! I've got an old box dont no if its 1 or 2 def not The Box Super. I want to download the new software but its saying I dont have permission! Where do I go wot do I do? Some1 plz show sum Xmas spirit.

on front of box the starview 1 will say starview, starview 2 will say the box, starview 3 will say thebox super..
