Starview The Box Super not working

recently added the new codes to get my box working. all worked fine but now my box keeps stopping and wont work. works for about 10 seconds and then stops again. get different symbols on the screen of the box and it will not work.

can anyone help please

try menu > 1570 > disable emu then reenable.

exit to sly sprots and let it update, if that doesn't work reflash the box and repeat

will go and try that now. what do you mean when you say reflash the box. sorry new to all this

update the firmware, can be downloaded from this site, you'll need a null modem cable as well though.

just downloaded that now. but it hasnt got a bin file on there. dont i need that in order to download onto the box

just downloaded the latest firmware and still problem. does that mean my box is no longer no good.

what is the problem exactly? have you followed instructions in this forum? usually quite easy to do.

ive now managed to add the latest firmware onto the box. it was working fine for about an hour and then the box just freezes and turns itself off. i then turn it off from the mains and put it on again. starts working again but only for about 5 min and then freezes again and goes off.

The Box Super seems to be having new troubles in our area (Pure), we put the latest firmware on, but only seems to have lasted a week, they could have re-coded again to out-do the latest firmware?

There have been problems in the past with "box" and "box super" switching off and back on every 15 mins or so .
A firmware patch was released to stop this .
I,ve had a few days of this with a "box" , i recently flashed with the latest
V820e + logbox firmware .
It switched itself off/on every 15mins or so for 2 days , i was about to reflash it with the older firmware , but it's now righted itself and has been fine for the last 24hrs .
So don't give up and if all else fails try reflashing it with your old firmware for now .

the last firmware i had was feb08. is that available to d/load on this site i no longer have the cd
