yes ive updated mine and it works

once i put firmware to usb will it go stright on to the box our do i have to do some thing with it first

u need to install it through the menu, find usb stick in the menu and go to new update and click ok and go to s/w upgrade and install then do factory reset then do an auto search for channels, then go to sly sports 1 and press 1819 on remote and after a few seconds it should come on

also u need to extract the .up file first from the file u downloaded then thats the 1 u put on your usb stick

make sure you EXTRACT the file first, then put on USB, otherwise it wont work
