yes i got it off the forum, i have a email reply from a seller of this box, bit complicated for me, can any one break it down into a prosess for me?

Looks like you are only finding one transponder, not a tuner fault or you wouldn't find that. Transponders are usually 8 Mhz apart, so make a note of the frequency that you have and try doing a manual scan with a frequency 8 Mhz higher than the previous frequency with Network scan switched on, then try adding another 8 Mhz and so on. I don't have a box in front of me, so don't know the exact key press order, but it should be straightforward to figure out. You can ensure the SR is correct to give a signal lock, I believe the QAM should be 64. When the box scans a valid transponder, it should get all the frequencies from the network search.

Using a old SV box,the TPs you have are as said on Post 44

          Menu/Installation/
          Cable Network =NTL
          Manual Scan
          Down Frequency = 171.000
          Symbol Rate = 6887
          Press OK

This is for a old SV box yours will differ some, good luck

Try 187.000 or 193.000,although it looks like a weak tuner the box is picking up the two lowest frequencies 155.000 & 163.000.

Reinstall the FTA softrware and return the box

The same way you installed the software on the box at the moment in "downloads"

That shouldgive you the FTA channels if the tuner is not ~~~~ed

why dont you give it one last shot m8?

                                This is the file you need, its already unzipped, so just copy the file to your usb stick;

1: Remove Ethernet Cable from back
2: Copy the new firmware to usb stick, flash the box
3: once the box is flashed & rebooted, Factory Default the box
4: after box has rebooted again, make sure the symbol rate is on AUTO, do not change anything else, and do not connect ethernet yet.
                                5: SCAN for channels
6: Connect Ethernet at the back
7: go to Sky sports 1, press 1819 on remote
8: give it 2/3 mins and see what happens.
