The box PVR 'ok and edit' buttons

    hi
just spent around three hours trying to fnd the answer to my problem with the SV2 box PVR.

i have the correct null modem (used it to flash eurovoxes) connected to my desktop PC

i have read that you need to press 'ok' and 'exit' to get the box to display 'boot' then its ready for the flash. i have tried this with the remote and the buttons on the front of the box.

When i turn my box on then it eventually displays the channel that it is currently on eg 0005--i can change this to whatever channel is in that favourites but i cannot get it to move from this.
Therefore every time i try and flash the box with v4.55 and the ver 4.03 loader i get the message 'flash update fail'

i have tried to research and find the cure for myself but nothing has worked!

    am i doing something wrong?

i would not even mind--this box is my parents--i am still trying to get my head round my week old cube revo!!!!

Try disconnecting the hard drive m8, might be worth a shot.
Failing that use the usb connection to fire across the new firmware, and install it through the menu.
