    Starview 1, lost setanta

I've not loaded the new fix yet, but thanks to the guys who have spent time producing it. Howeevr, currently I have lost all the Setanta channels, I'm in London - ex C&W. Any ideas how to get it back I've tried a fix posted elsewhere - manually scan 363000 range, but didn't work
    Thanks

have you checked the channels which are named as tv1009 and so on mate

do check those channels and if its not there then i would suggest that you try the box at some 1 elses house and see if that will make a difference...

I have had problems with SV boxes mate... After rescan the box should have found at least 320 channels mate

if anything under then you bound to have missing channels mate

The channels are not missing as such, just keep coming up as scambled or bad.
Also only pickup 266 channels (TV and radio)

The box needs to pick up at least 320 channels mate

I would suggest you rescan on a different feed. Also try this when scanning the box, make sure you are not using any splitters... Do a direct scan.

if the direct scan does not work then you will need to take it to a friends house and run a scan there.

bad or scrambled... re scan and see if that makes a difference and check the channels TV 100 and soo on.

secondly there is no need to put manual key entry because a Fix for the box has been released by Sunrise

M8 , the next time this happens, channels missing and so on, just do a factory reset , pin :0000 and do a new scan . It will sort your problems out.
Every now and then virgin media change frequencies of the channels , thats why they go missing.
And yes setanta channels are in the "BIC" list of channels too but it would be better to have them in the right place.

Oh , one more thing , flash the new fix on your box!!

I don't know if this will be a help or not, but I lost some channels a few days ago and I couldn't get them back using the automatic scan...
Instead I clicked on manual scan, dropped down to the network scan box and set it at ENABLE, then pressed the ok button...
I got the four channels I was missing in there...
