ONE ON ONE OFF

Got 2 sv7's both with same f/ware on ,one is working fine and saying connected and the other is saying not connected and will only show fta ,tried all the usual stuff ,like rebooted everything but still no joy,any ideas anyone.

hi camelv,

check to see if both ips are the same ,
go into network, ip setup and change ip address by 1 digit at the end so you dont get conflict of the 2 boxes with same ip so if 1st box is 0.2 at the end have the 2nd box say 0.3 at the end

dont think it matters on a cable box,but i have seen same problem elsewhere,i wonder have they changed something inside like a new chip that current firmware wont work on..

Have you tried disconnecting completely the one that works so that only the fta box is connected ?

ip's were not the same m8 and when i try to change ip in manual it just goes back to same one.

ta m8, but box is about about ten months old and worked with the carling f/ware in before they last went down.

not 2 sure but does the 1 that does not connect have the new firmware 2.12,i would suggest a reflash again with clean usb stick and a fresh download in case file got mixed up
